Hiatus!

I apologize to my viewers! I went a-wall for a bit lol. I have several orders back to back (which was good for business!) so that kept me super busy. All are completed now except for one I just received. I am working on something secret for my sister. She is having a baby and due in February. Im sure she reads this so no hints will be given :)

Updated on my controller covers I made last month. My boyfriend seems to really like them! They keep your hands from sweating and that's an awesome thing to a gamer!

Im going to think up some more tips and tricks asap. I know how hard it is to stay confident when trying to learn to crochet so anything helps. I am always here to answer questions. Just leave a comment or send me a message. Happy Hooking!

Tada!

I do not look good in hats, but a lot of people do. This puff stitch, slouchy hat is a popular trend at the moment. I used Red Heart super saver yarn, with a 5.5mm hook. It took about 5 hours total to make. Hope the buyer is happy with it!

It will be great!

My newest project in the making. It may not look like it now but this will turn into a slouchy beanie using a puff stitch. The puff stitch seems difficult but its actually very easy. Instead of finishing a double crochet you simply keep yarning over and inserting hook into the stitch. You'll do this til there are 9 loops on your hook at once; then you finish off your DC. Happy Hooking

Red Heart madness

My favorite yarn is Red Heart super saver! No its not the softest around but its got a good weight to it (will explain that in tips and tricks), Its cheap, and there is lot's of colors to choose from. Red Heart yarn, aside from slightly scratchy, is a good yarn because it doesn't fray, unwind, etc. It can stand up to a lot of abuse. I've tried other yarns that were soft and yes they were cuddly but they also tore apart when tightening stitches, frayed at the ends when I cut it, and the individual strands came unwound. So Red Heart is my go-to yarn :)

Crochet for men?

Yes women are the main census for all things crafty, We love making and receiving crafty creations; But what about men? Is there any crochet items that a straight guy would like to have? I'm more about creating for others than myself and yet I can't seem to create for one of the most important people to me, my boyfriend. Anyone have any ideas for crafts to give to men? Comment below with awesome ideas :)
